Ciroc Ultra-Premium Vodka was founded in France by Jean-Sebastian Robicquet. Robicquet’s family has been in the winemaking industry for over 400 years dating all the way back to the 17th century. As an expert at distilling, Robicquet has made the perfect top-shelf Vodka for everyone to enjoy. In 2007, Sean “Diddy” Combs began to handle the promotion and marketing in the USA which has brought much popularity to the brand. Diddy and the British alcohol beverage maker Diageo made a deal and split profits evenly. Because of Diddy’s fame, people flocked to experience the Ciroc Vodka brand and have become true fans of this modernized version of the spirit.
The Ciroc brand is known for its distinctive production process as Ciroc Vodka is derived from grapes rather than deriving from potatoes, grain, or corn. If you like to shop the best of the best, Ciroc Vodka is definitely part of your agenda when it comes to quality, taste, and flavor options.
The grapes are “snap-forest” Mauzac Blanc and Ugini Blanc and hail from the Gaillac and Cognac regions in France. To make Ciroc, the juice from the grapes that is extracted is fermented and distilled 5 times. This top-shelf vodka is also 100 percent gluten-free. The first four distillations of the Ugni Blanc grapes occur in stainless steel column stills and the Mauzac Blanc grapes are distilled in copper continuous stills. Once distilled separately, they are blended together and the 5th and final distillation take place in a traditional Armagnac style copper pot still. This process ensures that the quality of taste, finish, and aromas land that premium title.
